Through our social responsibility activities, we aim to contribute to the socio-economic aspects of the broader sustainable development agenda of our communities and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
KPO is committed to being a good neighbour of the communities around its operations and to support the efforts of the local authorities to pursue their development goals. We therefore work to:
- Avoid or minimise impacts from our activities,
- Maintain effective communications and relationships with interested and affected stakeholders, and
- Create opportunities to enhance benefits to society.
Moreover, in the framework of the Production Sharing Agreement with the Republic of Kazakhstan, KPO undertakes the realization of a vast set of social infrastructure projects.
