Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) has published its 2023 ESG (Sustainability) Report. Publication of non-finance reports is a long-standing practice and it reflects the Venture’s commitment under its Sustainable Development Charter.
This is the sixteenth report in a row where KPO is disclosing the key ESG aspects: environment, social and governance.
Amongst the topics discussed in the Report are the highlights of KPO operations, the KPO-365 business strategy, ongoing development projects, environment and climate change, digitalization projects, as well as multiple social initiatives implemented in partnership with various stakeholder.
Prepared in accordance with GRI Standards, the report has passed a third-party review by PwC Kazakhstan.
As one of the largest subsoil users in Kazakhstan, KPO acknowledges its responsibility and strives to make a maximum contribution to the social, environmental and economic development of the region. ESG principles have always underlied the Venture’s business processes.
