URALSK, March 3, 2025 - Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) has completed the capital repair of four schools in Uralsk: Secondary School No. 17, Secondary School No. 9, Municipal Public Institution of Education Department of the WKO Akimat “Regional Kazakh Specialized Boarding School Complex for Gifted Children No. 11 named after S. Seifullin and Municipal State-Owned Public Enterprise Children’s Music School named after D. Nurpeissova.
The implementation of these projects is aimed at improving the condition of educational institutions and creating comfortable and modern conditions for students' learning and development.
As part of the school capital repair projects, the following works were carried out: foundation repairs, construction of blind area, and reinforcement of exterior walls and partitions. Facade cladding and insulation were completed, along with the replacement of window blocks, doors, and flooring. Additionally, the repair included interior and exterior finishing of premises, as well as the repair and replacement of utility networks and systems. In the adjacent areas, sports and playgrounds were constructed, including a football field, volleyball and basketball courts, and gymnastics area. Asphalt paving of pathways, laying of paving stones and landscaping with planting of trees and shrubs were carried out. Hardscape elements and curb ramps were installed to ensure accessibility for people with limited mobility.
The implementation of these projects demonstrates KPO commitment to fulfilling its obligations to support local communities and improve educational infrastructure. Investments in education are aimed at improving the quality of life for the population and creating favourable conditions for the development of the younger generation.
