KPO Upgrades Regional Medical Infrastructure

Uralsk, West Kazakhstan Region, 29 May 2026 – As part of the WKO medical infrastructure upgrade project, KPO has started purchasing modern medical equipment for the institutions of the region.

The project aims to enhance the quality, availability and timeliness of healthcare delivery to the population. 

The first stage equipment delivery is being undertaken by local producers. 

The initiative will enable to ensure uninterrupted operation of medical organizations, outfit preventive healthcare institutions with cutting-edge medical equipment, as well as elevate the standard of diagnostics, medical treatment and rehabilitation of patients. 

This May, fine filtration flexible endoscopes drying and storage cabinets were delivered to a number of medical institutions.  Such equipment was received by the Oblast Cancer Centre, Oblast Multidisciplinary Hospital and Kaztalovka Regional Hospital. 

At the moment, mobile X-ray units are still being supplied to medical institutions of the Oblast.

All organizations involved in the project are committed to providing complete equipment delivery, installation, commissioning, medical personnel training, and ongoing maintenance.

Upgrading the medical infrastructure is an important contribution to improving the quality of life for the Oblast residents and advancing the healthcare system as a whole.
