Special attention during the meeting was given to the company’s contribution to the sustainable development of the region.
“KPO conducts its operations based on the principles of social responsibility, transparency, and environmental care. Since the start of its operations, KPO has invested $ 467 million in environmental projects. We actively support the “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative launched by the Head of State, with a particular focus on reducing methane emissions and preserving biodiversity. Specifically, greening and landscaping efforts have been carried out across an area of 800 hectares.

Between 1998 and the end of 2025, company funding totalling 901.98 million USD enabled the construction and commissioning of 268 social and infrastructure facilities. We strive to deliver maximum value to the Republic of Kazakhstan by driving its economic growth and fostering conditions for the sustainable development and prosperity of the local community,” noted Marco Marsili.
