Social Responsibility

Through our social responsibility activities, we aim to contribute to the social and economic aspects of the broader sustainable development agenda of our communities and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

KPO is committed to being a good neighbour of the communities around its operations and to support the efforts of the local authorities to pursue their development goals. We therefore work to:

• Avoid or minimise impacts from our activities,
• Maintain effective communications and relationships with interested and affected stakeholders, and
• Create opportunities to enhance benefits to society.

Moreover, in the framework of the Production Sharing Agreement with the Republic of Kazakhstan, KPO undertakes the realization of a wide range of social infrastructure projects.
