On November 29, Nur Sultan hosted the II International Energy Saving Forum timed to  celebration of International Day of Energy Saving.

The forum attendees included Amaniyaz Yerzhanov, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Sungat Yesimkhanov, Vice Minister of Energy, top management of Foundation of the First President of the RoK- Elbasy, World Bank’s, United Nations Development Program, KazEnergy Association, NWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC as well as leading experts from international organizations and business structures of Europe, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

The key points on the Forum's agenda were industry energy-efficient digitalization, the role of energy conservation in low-carbon development and environmental protection, awareness raising, the availability of “green” finance and energy efficiency in the government sector. Damesh Bektaliyeva, Corporate Energy Management Systems Manager, spoke at the Forum with presentation where she shared KPO's experience in digitalizing energy efficiency indicators.

During the official part of the forum a ceremony was held of presenting agency awards "For contribution to the development of the energy saving " and awarding the winners of two Republic-wide contests organized to promote energy conservation topics.
