URALSK, West Kazakhstan Oblast, 30 December, 2021 — On New Year’s Eve, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) announced the successful completion of a nine-storey apartment building construction.
The ceremony of handing over the keys was attended by Abat Shynybekov, Akim of Uralsk, the KPO top management, the contractor and public representatives.
The total project cost amounted to $ 2.1 million.
Yerzhan Abylkhanov KPO Local Business Development Controller congratulated new dwellers on this remarkable event.
The residential building has two entrances for 64 apartments including 32 one-room and 32 two-room apartments. The apartment house has all the required utilities in place. In addition, there are passenger elevators in the building, and all utilities are installed. The project provides for the automatic temperature regulation of the heat carrier of the residential building heat supply system, as well as the apartment-based electronic heat metering devices.
Besides, the Asyl Miras Centre for working with children with autism spectrum disorders is planned to be opened in this building. This Centre will cover six intervention programs, each of which is aimed at identifying and eliminating deficits in the social, verbal and everyday skills of children of different age.
To date, the KPO overall investment into the social infrastructure development of the region has totaled more than $ 452 million.
