Aksai, West Kazakhstan Oblast, 23 November, 2022 — A delegation from Shell headed by Zoe Yujnovich, Shell Upstream Director visited «Karachaganak Petroleum Operating b.v.»

The main objective of the visit was to see the field’s main production facilities and get acquainted with people performing key operations at the field with an emphasis on personal and process safety.

Giancarlo Ruiu, KPO General Director, while hosting the guests at the Field briefed them about the Company’s ongoing operations and presented a strategy and a model of the Karachaganak Project development in the forthcoming years. A separate presentation was dedicated to the implementation of the Karachaganak Expansion Project — 1B Phase (KEP-1B).

During a tour of the Karachaganak Processing Complex (KPC), the representatives of Shell visited the Main Control Room, where automatic control of liquids and gas production and processing is carried out.

At the end of the visit, the delegation members commended the KPO’s achievements and wished success to all Company’s employees.
