AKSAI, West Kazakhstan Oblast, October 27, 2020 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Kazakhstan Rudolf Gickl met with the General Director of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) Edwin Blom within the framework of his short-term working visit to the West Kazakhstan region.

Mr. Gickl got acquainted with the main aspects of KPO's operation activities and the company's achievements in project implementation, development of local content and social infrastructure. The also parties discussed potential opportunities for cooperation during the implementation of the Karachaganak project. In addition, the distinguished guest was provided with information on the measures taken by the company to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.

At the end of the visit, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kazakhstan wished all employees of the company further success in the development of the Karachaganak field.
