Aksai, West Kazakhstan Oblast, 22 November, 2022 — A delegation from Chevron Corporation headed by Brett Cooley, Head of Chevron International Petroleum Company visited «Karachaganak Petroleum Operating b.v.» to get acquainted with the current operations at the Karachaganak field.

During their field tour the VIP guests visited the field’s main production facilities (Unit-2, Unit-3, KPC), as well as the work sites of the Karachaganak Expansion Project — 1B Phase.

One of the main objectives of their visit to KPO was a possibility to talk to the Company personnel at their work places, where mainly personal and process safety topics were discussed.

The delegation from Chevron was accompanied, apart from Giancarlo Ruiu, General Director, also by Fidan Traufetter, Corporate Governance Controller; Carl Schmitz, Field Manager; Oscar van der Weide, Project Execution Director; and Anthony Sutton, Karachaganak Expansion Project-1 Project Manager.

The guests expressed their appreciation for the work accomplished by KPO at this stage of the field development and wished further success, safe work and new business achievements to the entire team.
