AKSAI, West Kazakhstan Oblast, 19 August 2023 — Alibek Kuantyrov, RoK Minister of National Economy, accompanied by WKO senior officials, visited the Karachaganak field and held a working meeting with the management of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO).

The purpose of the visit was familiarization with KPO performance and key production facilities of the Karachaganak field.

As part of the visit, the Delegation was introduced to the Karachaganak Processing Complex (KPC) and updated on the progress of the ongoing main development projects.

The Officials were also briefed about the prospects of building a Gas Plant at Karachaganak Field with a capacity to produce sweet gas and LPG.

The Delegation then made a sightseeing tour of KPC including a visit of its Main Control Room.

At the end of the visit, the guests wished the KPO team further success in work.
