Kazakhstan branch of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. continues to hold a number of technical workshops on 12 goods categories.

On September 9, 2024 technical workshop was held on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and filters, which aimed to raise awareness of local business entities of existing and future operational needs, as well as technical requirements for goods used in KPO operations.

The workshop was attended by the representatives of more than 35 companies and International center for development of oil and gas machine building «IMB Centre».

KPO b.v. representatives presented KPO’s technical requirements and standards for HVAC and filters, informed the workshop participants about future needs and familiarised with the entire KPO procurement process and supporting mechanisms for local suppliers.

The following webinars will be held by KPO b.v.:

— September 23, 2024 on insulation materials and pipelines;

— October 7, 2024 on instrumentation and automation (control and measuring instruments and automation) and electrical equipment;

— October 21, 2024 on pumps and seals, heat exchangers.

It is worth noting that KPO b.v. constantly strives to increase usage of goods of Kazakhstan origin at every stage of the procurement process through creation of opportunities and conditions for the national suppliers.
