The school for 198 pupils in long distance Koneketken Village of the Terekty District put into service. This is a social project carrying out by means of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.
Catching October weather like specially presented new occupants a lovely, summer warm day. Formal opening of the school for small village with population not more than 1200 people is so much significant event that practically all habitants of the village gathered on it. SKF Otdelstroy Ltd. constructed the school in fixed time and with excellent quality.
The school meets all standards of modern educational process. Two language laboratory and three computer classes, cabinets of physics, chemistry, and biology are equipped with up-to-date outfits. All conditions are established for carrying out shop classes in joinery and in fitting shop, sewing room.
On opening ceremony the Oblast Akim Nurlan Nogaev stated, development of material and technical base of education is quite consonant with the tasks set by the President Nursultan Nazarbayev, noting qualitative growth of human capital among constant priorities and necessity of introduction advance methods and technologies into the educational process.
The head of the region said thanks to Karachaganak investors emphasizing at the same time that they bring in weighty contribution to the region’s social redevelopment. Also words of acknowledge were said to the address of Otdelstroy Company, which are well known with high professionalism of their specialists and strict observance of quality standards.
School principal Otesh Zhumashev said it is long expecting event for the village residents. A school is the centre of a cultural life in any village, especially in the depth of the country. Building of previous school was built in last century. Teachers and pupils are thankful to the oblast administration, KPO and constructors.
Majority of teachers, they are about forty, have the highest and the first quality. There is no doubt hildren will learn more in such excellent conditions. It is need to say, the Terekty District is on leader positions on knowledge level. If the district was on the forth place by the results of the United National Testing lat year, so it moved on the first place this year. And not going to give the first place to anybody.
The theme was continued by the Director of SKF Otdelstroy Ltd. Valentina Mikhno. She is also believes, children will study more hard, and teachers will work more effectively in such comfortable conditions. In summer, at the very height of construction works, Valentina Pavlovma said in one of her interviews, the company cooperates with the consortium Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. since the end of nineteenth.
At those, crisis times, such partnership helped to stand out and keep a key personnel. At the same time, KPO is sophisticated client, demanding the full observance of the work quality with international standards. Therefore cooperation with KPO investors was the real school for professional skills. By the way, KPO attracts only Kazakhstani companies for implementing social projects. The director believes it is very responsible to construct for children.
Workers of Otdelstroy Company are proud they were committed to built children’s village in Uralsk and several kinder gardens. Everything looks good to the eye in new school. Even colour grade of garniture thought out. But children are children. Therefore only the strongest and durable materials were chosen for the school construction.
Children will be involved in to physical culture not only in sport halls, but on sports grounds designed for lower, middle and senior classes. Also assault courses constructed designed for the basic military training lessons and young tourists’ trainings. The school also equipped with independent boiling room.
Five constructors team worked in the village on rotational basis. There are more the 150 km from Uralsk to the village. And only the third part of the road covered with asphalt. But all need materials delivered in time, giving an opportunity to constructors to work within considered terms schedule. Also local habitants took part in construction. The most willing workers received vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens as a gift from Otdelstroy. The school also received a good present to its birthday – auto “Niva”.
Adilbek Sultanov on behalf of parents said thanks to the oblast administration, Karachaganak investors and constructors. He is a horse breeder. The main occupation of the village residents is an animal production. Today the government is doing all conditions in order to make agribusiness profitable. Several commercial farm units were supported by the Sabyga Program in the Koneketken Village. The village residents presented a highbred tiger beetle to the Otdelstroy constructors.
On opening day a bell was ring for 177 pupils. But there is no doubt; number of pupils will grow every year. The village is small, but there were 10 weddings in present autumn. More number of young people coming back to home from studies. Four young teachers came to the school according to the state program “To the Village with Diploma”.
Young People’s Associations and Veterans Council work in continuous cooperation. Chairman of the Veterans Council Satash Bakhtiyarov born in Koneketken, he has been worked as mechanizer more than forty years. Therefore he could compare today’s village condition with those, how it was at the dawn of our independence.
It is quite clear, people live better. The social sphere is developing. Natural gas will be delivered to the village soon. Design and estimate documentation for carrying out gasification is already done. Of course, there are a lot of other problems. But all of them could be easily solved.
Guests saw over the school. Pupils welcomed then in Kazakh, Russian and English languages. There are four schools constructed by the means of KPO this year. Selection of social objects implementing by the Karachaganak investors is corresponding with the oblast akimate. All of them addressed for solving the most critical tasks and improvement the quality of life of the west Kazakhstani residents.
